Description
Gold coral for Calypso, the sea nymph, daughter of the Ocean. She is remembered for keeping Odysseus, she desired him. Purple faceted, then tumbled glass to bring to mind Odysseus, the foolhardy king, tumbled out onto her beach by the Sea.
Athena, patroness of the 5 hilled city saved him, and sent him home to his wife, she who had been waiting a score.
